How Your Family Will Benefit from Little Paper Towns
A special hello to the most dedicated people out there: parents.
Little Paper Towns is starting a series for parents whose interests revolve around their families.
Whether making plans for the weekend or investing in big choices for your children, navigating all the right things can take time that we both know you just do not have enough of. Little Paper Towns is currently focused on the geographical regions near Barcelona, Spain. Specialising in this area, we are expanding the resources for you even if you’re new here, been here, or just visiting.
1. The Babies and Toddlers
Whether it’s your first or fifth, babies and toddlers can be a handful. You are making the most important choices for the development of your child. Even with your superpowers of handling it all, you will most likely need outsiders’ help. Maybe daycare when you have to work, or swimming class to prepare for the local beaches. Many things will come up that you could use an all-inclusive network for. Little Paper Towns is a directory for your wants and needs, so you can focus on the constant feeding, sleeping, diaper changing and crying while we direct you to the most useful local businesses and events.
2. The Youngsters
The younger kids can be easier to handle, as they know how to walk and talk, but they have so much energy that comes out in these new skills. Although school can take away some of the burden, it’s not full-time, and you really want to let them channel it into something productive. As enjoyable as it is to watch your kids drain their energy bouncing around the living room, it is nice to be able to find them a way to accomplish the same while developing interpersonal skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through recreational sports and activities. Martial Arts can also be a great way for your children to learn to defend themselves and encompass respect, discipline, and build character. Places and clubs like these are important to find extracurricular activities suited to your child. Even if they aren’t into sports, something like CatVana can be found on Little Paper Towns’ website.
3. The Teenagers and almost Adults
Trying to find things for your teenagers to do can be such a hassle nowadays. Maybe the annual trip to the water park is not as fun family time as it used to be for them. Yeah, let’s be honest, you win some and you barely manage some. That all comes with being a parent. As it grows increasingly difficult to relate to them, you can at least take your teenager and their friends to places you know will be safe. Possibly for your fashion-focused child, or maybe your child is into the new fantasy gaming trends or want to break out of an escape room. It may not be the easiest time to be involved, but it surely will benefit your relationship as you find new places for them to go while giving them “space”.
4. The Parents
Finally, we’ve got to you! Although it may seem that with a family your needs come dead last, it is very important that you have things for you, too. A relaxing spa day may be overdue or a nice sunny day at the golf course. Whatever your hobbies, Little Paper Towns can not only connect you with places, but also groups of others like you. With Facebook groups and blog posts, we are creating a network of locals dedicated to making a better, inclusive community. And if you want a date night together, you can find a babysitter and restaurant in one stop. So why wait any longer, plan a night to yourselves and remember how funny of a dancer your partner is.
As I’m sure you aren’t yearning to go back to doing yet another load of laundry, unfortunately we have come to the end. But the good news is it’s not really the end end. As I said before, Little Paper Towns is working on making a series to dive deeper into the topics you want to read about.
Follow along and keep up to date on new places and things to do with your children. Even if you have known the area for years or days, you might as well try something new. As your kids say, YOLO (you only live once) … is that still cool?
