5 reasons to rebrand
I've been thinking about this for a long time as my business has grown and my mission statement has changed.
This is why I considered a rebrand:
#1 â I avoided giving my website to anyone because I felt embarrassed about the design and consistency.
#2 â The clients who were reaching out to work with me werenât my ideal clients.
#3 â I could sense a lot of âsticky spotsâ in my business and I wanted a refresh to streamline my process and look.
#4 â I was ready to work with bigger clients and increase my prices.
#5 â I didnât feel connected to the brand I had as my values and mission statement had changed.
So I filled out my client questionnaire and I worked through my brand strategy, brand goals, mission statement, tone of voice, target audience, and brand inspiration. I used the same process as I use with my clients as I know it works. However, branding myself was a much bigger challenge for me. If the thought of a full rebrand seems overwhelming, donât worry. Itâs not always necessary. Just because you donât like your brandâs logo or you need to update your website, it doesnât mean you need to start from scratch. As the saying goes âIf it ainât broke, donât fix it.â
